Ok,
I decided to keep it one more night for testing. It will be available tomorrow before noon.
Here is the features list. I hope you enjoy.
Best Regards,
Bill
+ Right click on modules, components, and experiments for descriptions + In Station View mode, the camera centers on the last module entered + Music defaults to 50% volume for new game installations + Audio cross-fading in Station View + Menu sizes scaled down + Tip-of-the-day button (Thanks Hayoo!) + More time to react to a red alert + Tourist comes after 4 modules instead of 2 + Initial station atmosphere less sensitive + Vozdukh reduces humidity faster The result of most of this is to make the game easier to play at the early stage and to provide the player with more usable information. The lose alerts also happen earlier, giving the player more time to respond to altitude and astronaut emergencies.

Does anyone have any feedback on the new update? Bill Hi, runs nice and stable The user interface changes make it definitely more intuitive to use, but I've gotten past the point where that would make a significant difference in playing. I can't comment much on the game balance changes, as I haven't played the old version often enough to differentiate between poor management on my part and hard game balance It feels easier to manage, though. Hope this helps.

Hi all, wow, can it really be a year since I last posted here?!? Anyway, I'm still playing the game, and still loving it. All of the updates so far have added new dimensions to the game - so much so that I can't wait for the next one! I particularly like the ability to right-click on experiments/modules etc to get a description, sometimes its nice to remind yourself that these things actually exist in real life. However, my favourite addition of recent times is the Transhab module. I am very much looking forward to a fully configurable version at some point in the future. Keep up the good work!

Johnnywalker,
We miss your posts here! Many new players could use your expertise building ISS. I am also very happy to hear that you are still playing after all this time. That is why we put so much effort into updates.
Best Regards,
Bill

Hello all, i first just want to say that i love this program i may not be that good at it but i love it anyways..lol.. Now on to my question, with all of the talk about updates has anyone ever thought about bring back the VentureStar for this game (X-33) . Anyways i thought that might be a good add on to the game sence it would have been the replacement to what we have now as all of you know. Second question... With the C.O.T.S program underway is there going to be a time when a verson of Space X's Falcon 9 with the Dragon spacecraft be use in this program too... Last question... I might be asking too much but are you guys going to have a updated verson of NASA's ISS Manual on this website??
Thanks again for a very good sim...

Merlinou812,
Thanks for your kind words. I am thrilled that you love SpaceStationSim!
When we were developing the assets for future technologies to put into SpaceStationSim, we reviewed all the X series vehicles from NASA and determined the proper one to include would be the X-38. It is an escape vehicle and we use it in that capacity. It was also the only X vehicle to actually fly (glide). While the X-33 is interesting, it proved impossible to build and was canceled.
We have built the CEV and SimCEV for NASA using the Orion vehicle, which we hope to use in a future edition that would include a Moon mission.
We have been approached by a NASA contractor in the C.O.T.S. program to model the Falcon and Dragon, but they have not come up with the incentive yet. Hopefully soon. If so, then they will end up in SpaceStationSim as well.
I have looked and not found a newer version of the ISS Manual. It appears that NASA online activities has moved from support to promotions. If you find one, please let us know.
Best Regards,
Bill
