kosmonaut,
When you get your station positioned in a scene that you like, just press the Print Screen/SysRq button at the top right area of your keyboard. Then save and quit the game, go to an application like Paint, at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories and paste the image there. Save the image as a jpeg and then upload it to our web site.
Best Regards,
Bill

Submitted my first game winning station! The Kepler Scientific Research Station...It's a little unorthodox in design, but it got the job done! Looking forward to seeing it posted!

kosmonaut,
Oh yes you did! I got your files. Your screen grab was too small, so I played your game and made a screen grab similar to yours. I gave those files to Noel to place on the web site, however he has been totally slammed redesigning the retail game box and could not get to your files before the weekend. He will get them posted on Monday.
Thanks for your station! Sorry for the delay.
Best Regards,
Bill

I understand that being the President and owner of a game company, you must be quite busy. One question though, if you were to recommend a screen capture utility to someone, which one would you suggest? Regards Kosmonaut

Kosmonaut,
Greg recommends the Paint program that is in you accessories folder. Just play the game, at the right time click the Prnt Scrn button. Then close the game and open Paint. Paste into Paint and your screen shot will appear. Save the file as a jpeg and send it to us!
If you don't care for my screen shot of your game, just send me another.
Best Regards,
Bill

I have a tee shirt burning a hole in my pocket. We will give it to the best station design submitted by May 17th. The criteria are:
1. Win State game. 2. Six astronauts. 3. lots of complete experiments. 4. aerodynamic design that NASA would like. 5 Unique configurations with the eye toward ergonomic effeciency. 6. Bigger = better!
Good luck!
Best Regards,
Bill

Thanks Bill. I've also sent in a new game with a much flatter profile. I've hit the win condition on it at four astronauts, but I think that I can push it to six in the next few days.

Hello all, Ive won a spacestationsim game with every module, experiment and amount of astronauts that I could send into LEO. This station is the largest Ive ever built. I was able to control the air condition fairly well by sending up extra Contaminant removals, and lots of plants and co2 scrubbers. I tried to check and make sure all the experiments got installed and run. Would like to find out what you folks think of this latest Spacestation. Had fun, Sincerely , David Starr

I posted a screen shot of Clyde our space tourist friend as he zoomed into outerspace away from my newest spacestation. He asked "whats this button do?" Apparently his curiosity got the best of him. Thanks again for that tip Bill of putting an airlock on my spacestation! (hint: put a midi keyboard in the node 3 with the airlock on the side of the module) David Starr

Greetings all! Ive posted my Vertical Victory on the gallery. It is my best effort so far! Ive learned the secret of having more successfull experiments, in fact I think I had a 100% success rate on all experiments on this station. Pretty nice considering I got everything to level 9! One of each scientist total 3, and 3 astro techs total. The atmosphere is nominal at the end, no warnings. I think I used every module in the game.
This is also my first VERTICAL station, as I said in the beginning I think its my best. I still havent learned yet how to post my screenshot with the exported game file. I put up two screenshots separately anyway. One view is from the top and one from the bottom. I leave you with a tip:) The first experiment that you put up first is always the less difficult one. The later order of experiments are more difficult (has more white lines in it) Have your scientist do the first experiments up first ( the fewer the lines the easier the experiment). This goes for astrotechs like Sergi have him repair the one and two line repairs first then when he has equal to or more than the lines in a difficult repair or dangerous one he can repair those easier with more success and not electrocute himself.
Have fun !! Sincerely , David Starr SPACE RANGER
