I downloaded the update last night. No joy on it installing, however. The installer ask for my SSS disk in the drive, which I do. After a few minutes, I get this message:
The patch package could not be opened. Verify the patch package exists and you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.
Maybe I got a bad download, but I just thought that I would report it.

The home page update date was not updated correctly, but if you click on the Game Updates link it will take you to the right update (April 14th). I just did the update on my home laptop, from an original disc and it is working properly. If you have problems, please let us know, but we will not be able to help you personally until Monday. Enjoy the game!

I solved my problem. Evidently, when I updated to a SATA drive and transferred over all of my stuff from the old drive, the Windows Installer information got corrupted. I used Windows Installer Cleanup to remove the bad installer data, and reinstalled SSS and the latest patch. Everything is great now!

Sorry, Bill! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Each update brings more depth and value to the game, and I want to thank you guys for not only fixing bugs but adding a TON of new features. Most companies wouldn't do that for free.
Marsman, happily building Stations

My crew stop talking to mission control, but still it is a pretty cool update.

OK this is what happend, I was building my space station. At first they were in the first part of the space station. Back then it was the only part. As soon as I made the destiny space lab. They stop talking to misson control. I wait for a long time to see any respond.
