I have heard rumors that Cgress might keep the Shuttle flying beyond the construction of ISS. This would close the "gap" that we are going to have between Shuttle and Constellation. What do you think everyone?
Best regards,
Bill

If the shuttle does fly beyond the 2010 retirement, NASA will have a lot of scheduling to do!

Instead of junking the last shuttles couldn't they fly them up into space one last time and attach them to the space station for additional space, or maybe use it like the escape vehicle in the game?

NASA will give the shuttles to museums.

Patman,
That is a brilliant idea, IF the ISS can handle the mass. The last missions could be two astronaut missions and they could come back on Soyuz. I know this sounds a little crazy, but I'm going to ask one of my friends if they have thought if this, (which I have to believe they have).
Thanks!
Bill
