Track/ follow crew and other tasks and stuff

I was playing the game and something troubled me.
i noticed that you cant view your station crew head on as they travel in the station.

and i was thinking it would be cool not only to see that but also to track them.

if you playes the sims 2 if you click on them and place a track you can pan and follow them, so when the move from section to section it is like your in the same space with them your moving in the tubes and hatches and see what they see.

a nice interface to drop down so if you want not to see the name and picture in your way and pop up on a simple click at your choice.

other then a guest airlock that has dammage or a equipment break down other things can happen too.

like example a broken lightbulb or a solar panel james or needs fixed or a node has a breach or a truss needs repair or a basic space walk.

a dammage menu for inside and out a interface lf your station
example if a light bulb blew and a section is dark and you dont fix it it goes to a in station list where once you click on the thing lets say a light bulb is broken,

once clicked it takes you to the bulb.
now lets say the repair is out side like a guest airlock or a hull breach or a truss repair or a solar panal now some new tricks.

it does the same as the other and it has a twist.
lest say normaly station member joned fixes the airlock but what if he wants a helper?

so other then it says space walk it would also have a option that says space walk with.

so lets say your crew is

jones , smith, west, green , allen.

if jones is the first one selected he is not in the walk with list the others you pick.

if the job may me a three man job you have a extra one for the third man.

when the station is dammaged a nice movie clip to show dammage happening will be nice like a meteor hit ect.

Again, lots of good ideas. We do something very similar to your repair list with SIMCEV and Mission Control. In SIMCEV, we have a real time link to NASA Strider, a fault detection program. When SSS throws an error code, Strider recognizes and and alerts the Strider operator. The Strider operator clicks on the alert and SSS zooms its camera to the location in question. This is covered in SSS by the imminent event in SSS of course. We just don't show you the whole list at one time. We did this on purpose to make the imminent events more exciting and to keep the pace of the game higher.

We also have plans for a Astro view camera angle, where the player can play the game from the perspective of one of the astronauts. This is a really cool plan that would put the player INSIDE the ISS all the time. Again, we have much of it developed, but not the time to complete it at the moment.

Frankly, the entire EVA system in the game is incomplete. We originally developed a design for locater nodes both inside (the hand hold points the astronauts fly from and to in microgravity) and outside the ISS. It is just not finished. In the NASA MMOG, we could build a really cools system for EVA's.
