David,
The retail version of SpaceStationSim is V 2.0. However, wait to download your update until this coming Monday because we will release yet another one then. It will have a few cool particle system effects, a bit of rebalancing and the Sun's camera lens will be a check box option in the Launcher.
Best Regards,
Bill

I think this might be a neat little addition..How about a way to send astronauts back to earth? I was also thinking that it might be useful to have some way to delete modules/components. Last night I installed a Destiny module on my Epsilon station and added 2 "Science" components. The experiments failed an now I am stuck with parts I cannot use.

kosmonaut,
Welcome to the Forum!
We originally had a crew manager system for the game but had to postpone it's introduction to get the game released. We are now working on a system to age and then rotate astronauts off the station. I hope to have it in the next update or the next version of the game.
We will never delete modules however. This would be completely out of context with reality. We did consider attempting to move modules, as NASA has moved a couple of solar panels. However we decided it would require a completely different interface and would also inhibit players from building multiple stations, so we decided it was not significant enough to warrant it.
If astronauts on the ISS break a facility for some reason, they would also be "stuck" with it, as there is no way to rotate something like that back to Earth. Again, we feel this encourages players to build additional stations rather than trying to build just one station and fixing their mistakes. Make sure that you match the experiments with an appropriate payload specialist to ensure their success.
I look forward to seeing one of your creations on the station exchange page!
Best Regards,
Bill

hoping to have some more cutaways in the next update please. like cutaways of soyuz and cev. i think you guys made a cev cut away for simcev so surely you could incorporate that into the game. possibly a space shuttle aswell. that would be the best thing you could ever include in an update. serisouly if you guys made a space shuttle add on with a cutaway then i would buy every game tht you ever make. also is this crew rotation going to apply to vehicles. eg if you want to dispatch a crew to earth then you must assign them to a spare vehicle so that we can put different crews onboard
